Website completion date
Once the website actually meets the agreed completion standards and WANG ZI BUSINESS BLUEPRINT formally submits the completed version and completion notice, that submission date is the completion date.
Client-side delays cannot postpone completion indefinitely. These include an unavailable manager, an unchecked department, internal approval, disagreement within the team, finance processes, or missing client information, images, logo, pricing, company details or account access.
3-day acceptance & objection period
If you believe the agreed completion standards have not been met, list the specific unfinished items within 3 days of the completion notice. Statements such as “it does not feel finished”, “the boss has not looked”, “the department has not confirmed” or “the team has not discussed it” do not justify indefinite delay without identifying specific items.
We will address items confirmed to be unfinished pages or functions within the original scope, major errors preventing normal use, or clear departures from the written agreement. After correction and formal resubmission, the new submission date may become the new completion date.
What does not change completion status
Personal aesthetic preferences, simply disliking the result, wanting a more attractive or different design, later requests, out-of-scope functions, new pages or content, unresolved internal opinions and adjustments belonging to continued optimisation do not mean the website is unfinished. Once the agreed pages, main content, functions, navigation, contact details, responsive layout and usable standard are complete, subjective dissatisfaction alone cannot justify a refund, withholding the balance or indefinitely delaying payment or completion.
Balance payment & late payment
Pay 50% before work starts. The remaining 50% is due within 3 days after the website meets the completion standards and is formally submitted.
If neither specific qualifying unfinished items nor the balance payment are received within 3 days, we may suspend services or end the engagement. If it is ended on this basis, the 50% start payment is generally non-refundable because time, research, production and related work have already been invested. Any separate written agreement or applicable law takes precedence.
Client delays do not change the completion date
The date you pay the balance does not automatically become the completion date. For example, if the standards are met and the site is formally submitted on 1 January, but internal approval, management review, departmental processes, finance or team arrangements delay payment until 20 January, completion remains 1 January.
When the 3-month optimisation period starts
The 3-month period starts when the website formally meets the completion standards and is submitted, not when the balance is paid. In the example above it starts on 1 January, not 20 January. Client delays in approvals, information, access, confirmation or payment do not shift the whole optimisation period.
We must also finish the agreed work
If agreed main pages or important functions remain unfinished, major errors prevent normal use, or the work clearly falls short of the written agreement, we cannot declare completion or start the 3-month optimisation period early. It starts only when the standards are actually met and the website is formally submitted.

- The agreed main pages have been built.
- Core content is ready for use, including headings, services, prices, contact details, FAQs, calls to action and main explanations.
- The header, footer, main navigation, internal buttons, WhatsApp, phone, social links and other agreed entry points work.
- The agreed basic functions work normally.
- Common desktop and mobile sizes are ready for normal use, without serious overlaps, obscured text, unclickable buttons, significant overflow, badly distorted images or failed main layouts.
- There are no major errors preventing normal use, such as inaccessible pages, broken core buttons, incorrect important prices, missing main content, unusable forms or incorrect key contact details.
- Basic SEO, page structure and search foundations are in place. Immediate Google indexing, rankings, AI recommendations, traffic growth or sales growth are not completion conditions.
- The website is ready to launch. If client access, a domain, information or internal action is missing, or a third-party review or outage delays launch, that does not make the website production unfinished.
- The project has been completed using the information the client had provided at the time. Late logos, images, prices, opening hours, product or company information cannot postpone completion indefinitely.
- Website completion is not the end of the 3-month optimisation period. After completion and payment of the balance, the promised optimisation continues within the original period, covering agreed copy, FAQs, SEO, AEO, WhatsApp processes, small visual changes, page details and agreed function improvements.
